You will need admin access to create a user in Onboarded platform. Below are steps to follow to create a new user.
- In your dashboard, click on the cogwheel located in the top right corner.
- Click on the User List from the menu options
- Click on Add User Button – this will take you to the user setup screen.
- Fill out the details on the screen
- You can choose the level of permission for a user by selecting the right role
- Admins: Use this role for your system administrators. Admins will have access to every screen and feature of the application including system admin tasks like managing users, setting up email templates, connecting to external applications and looking at credit usage and billing details.
- Consultants: Use this role for your recruiting and onboarding team who manage day-to-day onboarding tasks but don't need admin access. Users with Consultant roles will have access to managing a candidate's onboarding life cycle including pushing data back into the ATS.
- View Only: Use this role for users you'd like to simply be able to have access to the dashboard to track the progress of the candidate's onboarding but not take any action.
- Click on Save and this will create the user and an email will be sent to the user with a link for them to set up their password.
Note: The link to set the password in the email to new users expires after 8 hours. Your users can request a new email to set up their password by clicking Forgot Password link on the login page of Onboarded platform. |
You will now be able to assign further permissions to your user by updating their user record as below.
- Click on the user record on the grid to open the record in edit mode and assign permissions as required.
- Permissions to the offices allow users to see candidates from that particular office. If you'd like the user to have access to all candidate records, provide permission to all offices.
- Police Check allows users to initiate police checks from the Onboarded platform.
- Move between Stages allows users to move the candidate record between "In Progress" and Onboarded stages if required.
- NZ Work Check allows users to initiate background checks for New Zealand.
- The Interview invite link allows you to set up the default Calendly link used in the Interview booking feature.
- Your users are now set up to start using the system once they set up their passwords at their end.
